What is this course about?
The Certificate Program in Investment Funds is a new program offered by the University of the Netherlands Antilles (UNA) on demand of the international financial service sector of Curacao.
It is the established educational pathway for a successful career in the Antilles and the international alternative investment funds industry. It will also appeal to those who wish to strengthen their knowledge of this vibrant growth sector. The Certificate Program in Investment Funds is based on courses of de Irish Funds Industry Association (IFIA) and the Institute of Bankers in Ireland, related to the University College Dublin and developed in strong cooperation with the international financial service sector of Curacao. The program is supervised under the chair of Good Governance. Chair holder is prof.dr. R.J. in ‘t Veld.

It will:
· Improve your knowledge and understanding of alternative investment funds and the servicing of same
· Improve your skills in the technical areas of Fund Accounting and Valuation, Custody & Transfer Agency Services, Investor Relations and the Legal and Regulatory requirements of the industry.

Seminars (3 sessions per module) on monday evenings from 6 pm till 9 pm
Each seminar will be 3 hours in duration.
Revision session from 6 pm till 9 pm

Each seminar will be 3 hours in duration ( 1 hours per module).

What are the costs?
The costs for the Certificate Program in Investment Fund Services are NAfl. 1.750,00 (for all 3 modules). This includes examination entry, study manual and seminars.
Please note that fees are non-refundable and non-transferable once seminars have commenced in the relevant term.
